That Writing Thing I Do

There is a unique kind of story I like to tell. In each of my books I set out to make the business world accessible through fiction. My third novel, From Nothing, is no exception. I talk about the inspiration behind it here:

It’s a Hard Rock Life

My goal is to take readers into places they wouldn’t ordinarily get to visit. Have you ever been in a high-tech company board meeting where profit and politics collide? Have you ever been face to face with a Silicon Valley venture investor and experienced the extreme pressure of vast portfolio management? Have you ever been backstage at a rock concert arena just before the headline act makes a thundering entrance before thousands of fans?

From Nothing: A Novel of Technology, Bar Music. and Redemption was published by The Story Plant on June 12, 2018. It’s the story of one spirited individual, Victor Selo, finding himself in the complexity of love, faith, career, and music. It’s the story of the choices we make and the invisible forks in the road we each face in our life journeys.

It’s the story of the soundtrack of our lives.
